Muslim Food Bank – Surrey

The Muslim Food Bank offers many services to our community and those in need. To get involved, visit our volunteer page.

Here are a few of the services that we offer:

1. Creation of food hampers at our warehouse
2. Home delivery of food hampers to those in need
3. Assuring the confidentiality of those who request aid by the Muslim Food Bank
4. Quick response to those in need of help
5. Organize bin locations across the lower mainland (and pick-up the food items if requested)
6. Consistently collect non-perishable food items
7. Send volunteers to local food banks
8. Organize presentations at your center, or set up information booths about the Muslim Food Bank
9. Connect Muslim organizations across the lower mainland together on a project that serves humanity

To those who need help, we would like to assure you that there is no shame in asking for help. We are all brothers and sisters in humanity and it is our responsibility and pleasure to help people in times of difficulty. There are times when many of us may be struggling and need a helping hand, whether it is only once or on several occasions. Do not despair in times of need, have hope in Allah SWT and let us help provide you with the resources that are made available to us. We may face some tough times in terms of financial obligations, but we should also remember what is important and InshAllah we will be able to make it through all difficulties!
