Tri-cities Academy

At the Tri-Cities Academy, our mandate is to contribute to the development of well-rounded, confident, critical thinking Muslims who strive to live their lives in accordance with the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah, while at the same time fostering a sense of Islamic community outside of public school.

We are a part time Islamic school located in the Coquitlam campus of Douglas College, where we are supporting students from the age of five and up. Our school is open every Friday evening from 6pm to 9pm.

Our curriculum focuses on the development of the basic skills required by every individual to be a functional Muslims living in Canada. We are proud of the fact that a large portion of our teachers have been born and/or raised in Canada and therefore have the ability to be relate to the challenges they may face as young Muslims in Canada. This coupled with the fostering of an environment of open conversation and learning is what makes our school stand apart.
